How soon will I notice a difference?
Our aim is to show you results inside your free trial, before you've paid anything. Most clients see their Google review count climb within 7 to 14 days. How fast depends on how many customers you deal with, and review reactivation gives you an early boost.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. You get 14 days free to see the results before you commit to a plan. We move fast on setup so the reviews start coming in during your trial.
When am I charged?
Your first payment is taken when the 14-day trial ends, then monthly from then on. It comes off the card you used to sign up, automatically.
Am I tied into a contract?
No contract. We aim to be easy to work with and just as easy to leave. You can cancel from your dashboard in a few clicks, and review requests keep going until your billing period ends.
What's the difference between the plans?
Plans are sized by how many new review requests you want to send each month. If you see around 50 new customers a month, the entry plan fits. Every plan starts with a review reactivation of your past customers. Follow-ups aren't counted towards your monthly requests, so on the entry plan you can ask 50 new customers and still follow up with each of them, based on your follow-up settings.
Why pay more than a £27 review tool?
A cheap tool gives you the software and leaves the work to you. ReviewSync is done for you on every plan: we set it up with you, reactivate your past customers and reply to every review.
Could Google penalise me for this?
No. You ask every customer rather than cherry-picking, and each review is answered. That's exactly the kind of genuine activity Google expects to see from a healthy business.
Can you stop bad reviews reaching Google?
No. Blocking or filtering reviews, known as review gating, breaks Google's policy, so we don't do it. What we can do is ask the right customers at the right time, which gives you the best chance of great reviews. Most customers are satisfied, yet the people who post unprompted tend to be the unhappy minority. ReviewSync makes it easy for your happy customers to be heard too. Anyone is still free to post a negative review directly on Google. One or two bad reviews won't sink your business. Having your profile shut down for good would.
How often will my customers be asked for a review?
Our recommended setting is one request after the service, followed by two gentle reminders. You can dial this up or down in your dashboard. Requests only go out during a review reactivation or after a service, so we never pester your whole customer list week after week.
What's a personalised image review request?
It's a request designed to be noticed, so you get the best chance of a review. Rather than a plain text message that's easy to ignore, your customer receives a photo of you or your team with their name added to the image.
Do you offer a review widget, and what is it?
A review widget is a small piece of code on your website that displays your newest Google reviews on its own, adding trust and helping turn more visitors into customers. One comes with your plan, and we can style it to suit your brand.
How does social media review posting work?
When a great review comes in, the system can create a Facebook and Instagram post for it automatically, using templates built from your own photos and logos. You decide when posts go out, and whether you approve each one or let them publish on their own.
How many reviews can I expect to get?
During review reactivation, most clients see 10% to 15% of their past customers leave a review. So with 1,000 past customers in your CRM, we'd expect roughly 100 to 150 reviews over the first 4 to 6 weeks. After a service, we expect more than 20% to 30% of new customers to leave a review, and many of our users see over 50%. Your numbers will depend on your customers, but getting reviews is what we do.
What is review reactivation?
We take your list of past customers and send them personalised image review requests gradually, over time. The steady pace looks natural to Google, and it gradually turns people you served in the past into fresh 5-star reviews, with no effort from you.
Do you cover Yelp, Facebook and other review sites?
Google is our focus, because it has the biggest effect on local rankings and on winning new customers. We can also connect with more than 50 other popular platforms. We'll talk this through during onboarding.
Which countries can use ReviewSync?
For now, ReviewSync is only available to businesses in the United Kingdom.
I don't have time for this.
That's exactly why it exists. Setup is the only time you put in. From then on it asks, replies and reactivates on its own.
Who is behind ReviewSync?
ReviewSync is run and hosted by Happy Lemon Labs Ltd, a UK software company in Preston, Lancashire. If you're nearby, let's talk it through over a coffee!
